I realize AlertPay isn't a perfect solution to accept donations. Although it states that it handles MasterCard, they review your site and tell you what cards you can accept and they decided I could not accept MasterCard. Dread", Raquel González in "Fausto 5.0"Many have asked why I chose AlertPay to service the site donations. As some may remember, I used PayPal for quite some time, however, once they found out that this site is of an Adult nature, they terminated my account and I can no longer use their services. I've looked at several other services and most have requirements that I either don't qualify for or I choose not to pursue, such as:
1.) Must provide proof that the site is a registered "Not for Profit" organization. The site makes no profit, quite the contrary, and it is not registered, for tax purposes, as "Not for Profit".
2.) Some REQUIRE that the site is a "Pay site". I don't think anyone wants this.
3.) The volume of site donations are not sufficient enough for them to be interested.
4.) Some won't do business with a site that is Adult in nature.
5.) Some have too high of fee structure or require that setup and monthly fees are paid. These services are not an option.
There are other reasons as well, however, these were the most common. If you know of other services, I'd like to know. As it sits right now, the site averages about 240,000 unique visitors per month and uses, on average, about 950 Gigabytes of bandwidth. In the last week, out of almost 240,000 of unique visitors to the site, only 2 people made a donation via AlertPay. This took me by surprise as I thought the clips I post are appreciated. AlertPay only requires you to register, which is very easy to do, and it's easy to send money. I'm perplexed, to say the least. The hosting renewals for the site are due in a few days. If there are insufficient donations to cover the fees, the site WILL be closed as I can no longer fund it alone. It's been enjoyable to share my clip collection with the world, track down requested clips and see familiar screen names these past 4 years (both sites combined). I really, really hope to continue.

I recently joined AlertPay to process site donations. The link is found above. As the site is up for renewal very soon, I will ask for your help in keeping the site going. There are a couple of things I don't like about AlertPay. It requires that you register to send money. This is free and very easy to complete, but it's an extra step. The other thing is it doesn't allow the donator to choose the amount they'd like to donate. With this in mind, I selected a very reasonable amount of $10 as the donation amount. If you'd like to donate more, make multiple donations at the same time (hint, hint).
For those of you who would like to setup a reoccurring, monthly donation, that capability is available also. We'll see how this service performs. I'll continue to look for other services as well. If you know of any other services, let me know.
As I'll be out of town this week, no updates will be made until a week from today at the earliest.
